Jazz Sound Supports the 40th Autumn Song Festival at Beijing Institute of Technology

The singing never stops, and youth remains eternal. The Autumn Song Festival is not only the largest stage to showcase the talents of students from Beihang University, but this year's event is also a grand tribute to the 75th anniversary of our alma mater. The sound system features 24 JLtwo line array speakers and 12 CM15 stage monitor speakers, with the PA system set up using L and R (8 each) along with lip fill speakers, and 8 JL218S subwoofers arranged with 4 on each side. Over five thousand spectators filled the entire gymnasium to capacity. The live band and powerful vocalists created a series of climaxes throughout the evening, with thunderous applause resonating in the air.

"Embracing youth, collecting memories," on the evening of December 6, 2015, coinciding with the 75th anniversary celebration of Beijing Institute of Technology, the final of the 40th Autumn Song Contest was held as scheduled. The Autumn Song Contest, organized by the university's Youth League Committee and Student Union, is a large-scale singing competition that involves the entire university and is one of the most influential cultural events at the institute. With the aim of "enriching campus activities, creating a positive artistic atmosphere, and producing distinctive and high-quality events," the Autumn Song Contest has won the affection of a wide range of students and faculty through its impressive performances and stunning stage effects.

Powerful singers perform passionately

The university leadership placed great importance on this Autumn Song Festival, with the vice president and the deputy secretary of the Party Committee personally overseeing the event. After nearly three months of preparation, including preliminary rounds in various colleges and intense competitions across two campuses, 12 talented groups emerged to deliver a musical feast for the audience.

Jazz Sound was fortunate to undertake the live sound reinforcement for this final performance, held in the Beijing Institute of Technology gymnasium, which has over 5,000 fixed seats.

The sound system included 24 JLtwo line array speakers, 12 CM15 stage monitors, with the PA system set up using L and R (8 each) plus front fill speakers, and 8 JL218S subwoofers arranged with 4 on each side, filling the gymnasium to capacity with over 5,000 spectators. The live band and powerful vocalists created an atmosphere of continuous excitement, with thunderous applause throughout the evening.
